Meet the 2025 Argo Group Scholarship recipients, Jessica Cudzich and Roan Maye – two UIUC students using their passion for math to reimagine the future of insurance.
- The scholarship is one way Argo is investing in future insurance leaders. The Argo Scholarship, awarded in partnership with the Spencer Educational Foundation, recognizes outstanding students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) who are pursuing insurance careers with a commitment to diversity and innovation.
- Scholarship winner Jessica Cudzich aims to improve financial security for those in need. Cudzich is focused on becoming an SOA-certified actuary and using math to create positive change. “I am excited about the opportunity to develop strategies that improve financial security for those in need and grow into a professional who can make a lasting difference,” she said.
- Scholarship winner Roan Maye wants to innovate in a way that creates equity. Maye is driven to “revolutionize the entire insurance sector” by tackling inequities in pricing and access. “We have to innovate to ensure a better future in insurance for everyone,” he said.
